Oh, how I love ink!  I love the smell of it, the act of applying it to a new surface!  I love getting my hands dirty!

Today, a package arrived that I ordered on eBay.  Inside it was 40 smallish bamboo tiles with precut holes (as I do not own a drill), and a bottle of micro beads.  Both were old inventory from a closing store, so they were dirt cheap.  I put the beads away in their drawer, and I spent the afternoon touching the tile and looking at it.  I love the texture, smooth but with lines.  And the color is just beautiful. 

While I was watching the premiere of LOST tonight, I pulled out my alcohol inks (the green) and my Staz-On ink pad (the black) and got to work.  I stained the tile green and stamped ivy from a large heart stamp in black.  I embossed it so that it would look wet.  Not sure what I'm going to do with it next, maybe add a fabric flower?  But I kind of like it just as it is.

I have seen some beautiful stamped dominos in stamper galleries across the net, so this is another thing on my 2007 list.  I really need to update that thing!  But then again, it's going to keep changing!  lol
